Christopher one of the Bennett brothers and one of the sets of twins, he is handsome, hardworking, definitely not looking to settle down. Victoria suddenly thrown into being the guardian for 3 siblings when her parents died, trying to do the right thing, financially, the kids emotional and physical well being, she was hardworking, very self sufficient, great loving provider, even though the social / case worker didn't think she could handle the responsibility. Victoria meets Christopher when he is in need of a designer for the home he is having finished for him, and She is a home designer! Therefore they are thrown together a lot, he is a shameless flirt, she cannot help but laughter, enjoy being the recipient of those flirts!!❤️ Read on, you will so enjoy this story, I love these stories about the Bennett's, cannot wait for more!!!
I loved Christopher and Victoria's story. The blending of the family and their quest to make happy memories. Victoria is a strong woman who took over raising her three siblings after losing her parents. She own a decorating company that has worked on a few Bennett projects. Christopher is home from Hong Kong and wants to set his roots back up at home. He has no idea his sisters are up to their old tricks and when they recommend a interior decorator he is caught unaware. I really enjoyed the siblings and their quirky humor. I can't wait for Alice's book!
5 Crazy Ass Must Listen Stars!!!!!
A new-to-me author! I've seen Layla Hagan's name around the book community and she has always intrigued me. I just never had the opportunity to read anything of her's. So when the opportunity to review the audiobook of Your Tempting Love presented itself, this book whore jumped on it so fast.
I didn't realize this was Book 5 of a series when I signed up so I was a little hesitant to start it even though the blurb does state it's a standalone. It is a true standalone. At no time did I feel like I was missing out on any key points or situations. However, now I'm curious about all the other Bennett siblings and their stories...haha.
The narrators did a great job telling the story. They blended well together and really brought the characters to life for me.
Christopher and Victoria's story pulled me in right from the start. I loved how Christopher was with Victoria's siblings. He had me swooning with the things he did for her family. I liked that there was no ex-drama where these two were concerned and what drama they did encounter was related to family situations.
My heart melted, sang, panged, and fluttered throughout this book. I will definitely be grabbing the other books in this series to feed my book whore curiosity. Layla Hagan has made it on my stalking radar.

Victoria Hensley’s life changed forever the night her parents died in an accident and she was awarded legal guardian of her 17 yr old sister, 9 yr old brother and 4 yr old sister. She lost her job, sold the family home, bought a new house for her new family to live and start a new home decorator company. Now she has worked with Alice Bennett n her new restaurant, and Pippa’s new home and has the opportunity to decorate Christopher’s new apartment. This is a perfect win that will bring in extra money and accolades over her work. She loves and is proud of what she does, but a very nasty child officer is constantly in her face questioning her ability to bring up her brother and sisters. Out to prove she is everything they need, she pushes ahead, sadly starting out spilling hot chocolate on the potential client – not the best start.
Christopher Bennett, is strong willed, smart, hot as hell and sucked in at 1st glance of Victoria Hensley. Taking the sight of this gorgeous woman, and little girl in tow, he is cautious she might already belong to someone else, but is blissfully happy to discover, she is her sister. He is sucked into her world, but her walls continually pushing him away. Normally he pulls in the chicks, but the one he really wants, is all business. Enter, inappropriate Christopher, he can melt panties, cause blushing and break down Victoria’s walls one by one. Loving the kids was an added bonus, and earning the trust of young Lucas through their love of soccer, life looks really good.
Falling into an easy life, Christopher and Victoria make their own way in the world. Victoria realises loosing her parents doesn’t mean she can’t have another family, and her little 4 person family, gets blown apart by the Bennett’s. Their, loud, loveable and robust. Taking in another 1 or 4 means more fun, more love. Love that both Victoria and Christopher desperately want. But when Victoria’s world falls apart around her between work, the system and another terrible accident, she discovers the terrible threat of losing another member of her family is to much. Will she give up everything before losing it or fight for what she knows is right. Victoria may be sweet and small, but never underestimate a smart woman who takes what she wants – in life, love and work.
As always and has been with each of these stories, each character takes a piece of my heart. They are all so beautiful in their own ways… I’m on to the next one. Alice – she’s going to get her ONE.
This is the next Bennet book that focuses on Christopher whose twin is Max. Pippa, the match maker suggests to Christopher to try her decorator Victoria. Of course Pippa thinks they will make a great couple. Victoria losses her parents and is now the guardian to her siblings. She is so focused on providing for them that she puts her self last. The social worker assigned to them is very negative and is always threatening to take the kids. Once Victoria meets Christopher they both realize there is a very strong attraction. They stop fighting the attraction and just go with it. They do pretty well and everyone is accepting of their relationship. There are some bumps along the way but they get through it. You see the Bennet clan which is always great. Can't wait for Alice's story.
